Mechanics and Experimental Dynamics

Our research focusses on analytical and numerical modeling of mechanical systems and corresponding experiments. Current topics include modeling and design of devices for ultrasonic particle manipulation, and the sensing of fluid properties (density, viscosity, viscoelasticity) by quantifying its interaction with a vibrating system. Also wave propagation in structures is studied as well as gravitational interaction of vibrating systems.
